Eat Right

Part of having CF means you need to eat a lot of calories. That’s because the mucus CF makes can block your body from absorbing nutrients from food.

Luckily, some of the most popular foods for teens also have lots of calories. The trick is making sure that you’re still eating healthy. Make sure you eat lots of veggies, fruits, protein and dairy – and not just filling up on cookies.

Check out these recipes you can make for yourself, or have at your house when friends come over. Be sure to ask your parents before you use the kitchen.

Now, the only question is: Salty or sweet?
